Symbolising rebirth and new beginnings, the daffodil is virtually synonymous with spring.  Though their botanic name is narcissus, daffodils are sometimes called jonquils and in England, because of their long association with Lent, there are known as the "Lent Lilly.  

This beautiful bright yellow daffodil wall hanging can be in full bloom in your home all year round - its not just limited to spring time!  The flower petals have been made using sunflower yellow and tangerine orange opal glass with spring green stringers and medium glass frit grass.  It measures 9 cm x 16 cm and hangs on an orange saddlestitch ribbon which has a contrasting colour orange wooden drum bead.  The total length of the wall hanging including the ribbon is approximately 26 cm.  Although similar each one is never identical due to the fact that all the glass is hand cut, different shapes/lengths of stringers are used in each one and also the random colour mix of the frit grass makes each daffodil wall hanging unique.
